Welcome to the Pittsburgh chapter of Pitch and Run which originated in New York City by VCs and startup founders. This is open to all runners or walkers; bonus for those who are currently building and working in the world of startups. This is a great way to network, build relationships or friendships within those in the Pittsburgh startup ecosystem.
Come for an easy paced run/walk at 9AM and hang out afterwards at Bitty & Beau’s.
If the weather is bad, we can just meet up instead of walking or running.
Pittsburgh’s Biomedical Sector has long been very siloed. The medical professionals and university researchers do not interact with private industry enough and vice versa. Big companies and small companies are often completely disconnected.
The BioBreakfast is an attempt to bridge the divides between the disparate groups that shape the regional biomedical sector. Most importantly, the Breakfasts try to spur informal networking so that people can build stronger networks and help identify opportunities and individuals they can work with to advance ideas.
The BioBreakfasts happen every Tuesday unless that Tuesday is a National Holiday. Otherwise, they are on. You do not need to register. There is no cost. Just show up and take part.
The Western Pennsylvania District Export Council (WPA DEC) in coordination with the U.S. Commercial Service and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission is hosting a happy hour for company representatives from firms active in exporting or interested in learning more about international trade. This will be an opportunity to network with executives from experienced exporting companies, federal, state, and local trade experts, and service providers that can help your company grow through exporting.
